Invitation: Meeting with GT Thompson to discuss workforce bill and proposed H-2A program reform

Anyone is invited to join a meeting with House Ag Committee Chairman, GT Thompson to discuss his new workforce bill, and what the legislation is proposing forward.

Attendees will hear directly from Chairman GT Thompson about what the language means and will be able to ask questions about the timeline, process, and next steps, driving solutions forward.

The proposed language would:

• Expand H2A Access and Ag labor definitions
• Create a mechanism for our existing workforce to transition to the H2A program
• Codify some wage and housing provisions for the H2A program
  

Anyone who uses the H-2A program or those interested in the issues around farm labor are welcome to join and contribute to the discussion.
